The traffic levels have returned to regular levels at this point. We will continue to monitor the situation.

Investigating

We have been seeing an elevated level of failing requests due to response timeouts over the past couple of minutes. This appears to be caused by a significantly increased level of traffic towards our API servers. We are investigating the root cause and will enable appropriate mitigations if it becomes necessary.
